How to Use Howard Butcher Block Conditioner

Prepare the butcher block, or any wooden surface, before applying Howard Butcher Block Conditioner. Ensure that the surface is free of any debris. Clean any remaining grime, if possible, using your usual cleaning solutions and materials.

Shake the butcher block conditioner gently. Using a clean cloth, apply the solution until it covers the entire surface. Let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Remove any excess using a clean cloth. You can apply additional coats if the wooden surface still feels dry. Thick butcher blocks may require at least two coatings. Make sure to apply on all sides of the block.

Howard Butcher Block Conditioner is best used with Howard Cutting Board Oil. Apply the oil before conditioning the butcher block.
